Simplifying campus employment
Client: The University of Reading
I lead the team who worked on this campaign. The Uni’ unveiled a new centralised student jobs service for the 2017/18 academic year. The aim, recruit student workers across the Uni’s numerous services, and streamline the internal HR system. By simplifying the way students are employed on campus, students and the Uni’ have for the first time a one-stop shop for Campus Jobs.
We developed a visual identity and brand, based on the proposition: “Campus Jobs work for you”. The campaign logo highlighted the robust nature of the process, and the colour palette and patterns helped to provide impact and consistency.
The guidelines assisted the Uni’s in-house studio to develop further applications. Within four weeks of the campaign rollout, student demand outstripped jobs available and within 1 month, all vacancies had been filled.
