Rethinking a growing website

Client: Viridor

Services: Brand Strategy, Social Media, Design, IA, UI Design, Digital Build, Google AdWords Campaigns

Viridor, originally a waste management company, expanded into recycling and renewable energy. Their website had grown organically with the expansion of their B2B business offer, and was updated with new sections when needed. The website remained informative, but the site design, information architecture and user journey became cumbersome. The site was originally built with two separate, stand-alone sites in addition to their main site, built within different CMS platforms.

I lead the account and creative team working on the project, for the rebuild. For the front end, we updated the design to bring the colour, font and layout design up to date, working with a mobile first approach. The IA was consolidated by dividing content into different sections: operations, developments and sustainability. I worked closely with the digital team to consolidate the back end, unifying CMS platforms where feasible. We simplified the user journey by consolidating the front-end to work seamlessly for users.

What the client said:“I have been impressed with Maj and his team to both accommodate what we request of them and also to push the boundaries when required, ensuring  our digital offering is the best it can be, within limitations (technology and budgetary).”
